Dr. Nahed Samir Botros was given the nickname “Sam“(derived from her middle name) while attending college.  It caught on and she is still happily referred to as Dr. Sam by her patients.

After obtaining her medical school training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Sam completed her Internal Medicine residency training in 1996 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She has been on staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital since 1998.

Since 2004, Dr. Sam has been practicing in the field of medical aesthetics.  Following two years of experience at a laser center, she helped cofound BioDerma Laser and Aesthetic Centers in 2006.  Dr. Sam performed thousands of treatments and found herself drawn to the art of administering Botox and fillers, ultimately leading to her decision to specialize in this area.  Dr. Sam is committed to providing safe and effective aesthetic treatment to her clients.

Employing a natural ‘less is more’ approach to her treatments, Dr. Sam offers her clients a conservative alternative to achieving a more youthful appearance with the hope of aiding them in feeling better about themselves.
